So yeah, the Utahraptors have been on the hunt again. I managed to ward them off with landmines, and even got myself a claw to fashion into a knife, but the police are making inquiries. Nuts to them. Where were they when the raptors first showed up? Where were they when my sister died? Some people say that Utahraptors are just an occupational hazard of living in Utah, but let me tell you, Utahraptors will remember you wherever you go, and they never react kindly to seeing someone that escaped them.

Although getting out of Utah is also a possibility, I guess.

EDIT: the emoticon box is not working. Pretend it is of a person trapped in a glass box surrounded by weremongeese.

  • Favourite game: Golden Sun, SSB, Metroid, Lost Vikings, La-Mulana, and obviously Cave Story.
  • Favourite gaming platform: Wii and DS. I'm a Nintendo guy. Also, indie games need no platform!
  • Favourite cartoon character: Frylock. I know he's the straight man, but still... levitating deep-fried laser death.

Just curious, Where do you get your backgrounds for the comics? Do you get them straight from the game?

I found a zip file of them somewhere on the Interwebs. I think it was on the Cave Story fan site (miraigamer.net/whateverdiddlybobbins) but I can't be sure. Since the backgrounds are generated by using existing sprites, it's not easy to find them otherwise.
